Passenger Bus practice access

Prepare for Passenger Bus with online practice alongside the Texas Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver’s Handbook. The published practice bank for this subject contains 120 questions. A practice set uses 20 questions; 16 correct answers is an 80% score. These figures describe this study product and are not a claim that Texas DPS publishes its live examination bank.

Handbook reference: Section 4. Use the current edition linked below and check your selected product’s access period and terms before checkout. A practice score helps you identify what to review; it does not guarantee an official examination result.

Study the responsibilities around passengers

Passenger transport adds duties before, during and after the trip. Review boarding, exits, passenger communication, vehicle inspection and safe operation. Think about how an unexpected stop or a blocked aisle could affect people inside the vehicle.

Plan the vehicle and endorsement requirements

The passenger path depends on the vehicle’s capacity, ratings and equipment. Confirm the appropriate CDL class and any required passenger endorsement, ELDT and skills testing. A bus with air brakes also requires attention to air-brake knowledge and the equipment used during the examination.

Keep passenger and school-bus subjects distinct

Passenger and School Bus cover related but different responsibilities. If you intend to drive a school bus, review the additional school-bus subject and requirements rather than assuming passenger practice alone is sufficient. Ask about the exact vehicle and work before selecting services or arranging a rental.

Review, repeat and plan your next step

Return to the reference after each practice attempt and explain the topics you missed before trying again. Consistent understanding across repeat attempts is more useful than memorizing answer positions. Keep your application documents, required training and state appointment on a separate checklist.
