Each vehicle rental and familiarization service remains a separate selection with its own scope and limits. Combining selections into one payment does not turn them into a bundled driving course.
Purchasing one service does not require purchasing another. Familiarization is for customers who already have the knowledge and skills needed to use the vehicle safely. Online CLP practice access options are listed separately below.

Access online practice tests and study materials directly on our website. Choose the practice tests for your vehicle type, or select individual topics. Sign in to your account to study and practice during your 30-day access period after activation. Each purchased topic includes 30 days of access, unlimited repeat practice, and shuffled questions and answers. Practice passing score: 80%. Highly recommended for vehicle familiarization. Pre-trip videos and practical reference materials provide valuable information for reviewing vehicle components, inspection procedures and terminology before your familiarization visit. Use these self-directed resources to refresh your existing knowledge and make the most of your time with the vehicle. Access is purchased separately and is optional. The purchased access period is 30 days; renewal requires a new purchase.

The stated limits apply to the entire identified activity, including repeat visits. Equipment use for that familiarization session is included in its fee. A test rental is not required to purchase a familiarization session.

This add-on guarantees unlimited vehicle rentals for your Texas DPS CDL skills-test retakes until you pass, with no further retest vehicle rental charge. You remain responsible for the current applicable fuel surcharge for each retest trip while the temporary fuel surcharge is active; we confirm the current amount before each reservation. If you do not pass the Texas DPS pre-trip inspection, backing or road portion, your truck rental for subsequent skills-test appointments is included at no additional rental charge. Repeat vehicle familiarization related to the unsuccessful portion is also included, including one (1) hour of self-directed road vehicle familiarization on the morning before each road retest, at no additional charge. |
Familiarization applies your existing knowledge and skills to the vehicle and remains within the published activity limits. Retest appointments and vehicle reservations must be scheduled and confirmed. Applicable Texas DPS fees are separate. An additional fuel surcharge applies to each trip while elevated diesel prices remain in effect.
We will confirm the surcharge before reservation; it will be discontinued when diesel prices return to normal levels and we remove the surcharge. This selection does not guarantee a passing test result. It does guarantee unlimited truck rentals until you pass your Texas DPS CDL skills test, subject to the stated rental terms and any applicable fuel surcharge.

Texas DPS charges, medical services and independently purchased theory are separate from our listed selections. Request a location-specific quote if your planned test site is not one of the published rental options.
Service details and refunds
What the familiarization fee covers
Pre-trip: Apply your existing inspection knowledge to the particular vehicle. Staff may identify its components, controls and configuration. Backing: Independently operate the vehicle in the marked area to become familiar with its dimensions and steering response. Road: Self-directed driving familiarization with the Texas DPS CDL road course, including the vehicle’s braking, turns, mirrors and handling, with the legally required accompanying CDL holder.
One session up to one hour. These limited activities do not provide a comprehensive beginner curriculum. No credits or units toward a longer course are awarded. If your needs exceed the stated scope or time limit, obtain additional preparation from an appropriately authorized provider. Vehicle use depends on legal eligibility, required documents, safe operation and availability.
ELDT and Texas DPS testing
Get Your CDL Quick does not offer, certify or submit ELDT Theory. Obtain any required Theory independently from an appropriately listed provider. ELDT Behind-the-Wheel Range and Public Road training is separate from these rental and familiarization prices; request written availability and terms. Completion requires all applicable training and documented proficiency. A booked session or rental does not establish ELDT completion.
Texas DPS administers and scores its CDL tests and determines license issuance. We do not guarantee a test route, passing result, license or completion date.
Advance written information
For each paid activity relying on Texas Education Code Section 132.003, we provide the written description and refund policy at least 14 days before it starts. We document delivery and the eligible start date before accepting the applicable booking. This disclosure period is separate from any CLP holding period.
Cancellation and refunds
For a covered paid activity, cancel before it begins to receive a full refund of its fee. This includes cancellation because the advertised instructor or qualifications have changed.
If you complete at least eight classroom hours or half of the identified course, whichever is less, and are dissatisfied, you may receive a full course-fee refund by requesting it and giving a reasonable written explanation no later than 14 days after the course concludes. A required refund is not replaced with mandatory store credit.
For a standalone test rental, the policy provides a full rental-fee and fuel-charge refund if you cancel before vehicle dispatch. After dispatch, only lawful, previously disclosed charges for rental or trip services actually provided or incurred may be retained. No duplicate charge applies. Rights required by law control.

Retest benefits already purchased under an earlier agreement remain governed by that agreement and applicable law. This menu does not remove existing customer rights.
Complimentary ELDT — Limited Terms
The offer applies to qualifying selections of pre-trip, backing, and road rental and vehicle familiarization, Class A or Class B test-truck rental, and Customer Resources access totaling at least $1,750 at their original service-price amounts, excluding fuel and online CLP practice access. ELDT Behind-the-Wheel Range & Road is a separate activity provided at no additional charge when eligibility requirements are satisfied.
Completion requires applicable training and documented proficiency. Purchasing services does not itself establish ELDT completion.

Our inspection and licensing reference information draws on the Texas Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers Handbook, DL-7C, revised March 2026; the Commercial Driver’s License Manual Supplement for Modernized Version, DL-7CM, version September 9, 2022; and published FMCSA guidance and federal regulations. DL-7C and DL-7CM are publication identifiers, not statute numbers.
We compile and organize references to make independent review easier. The official agencies establish the licensing and inspection standards. Company-produced videos, narration, checklists and review aids explain these topics; they are not publications issued by Texas DPS or FMCSA. The official sources can be read directly at no charge. Use current Texas DPS instructions when an older supplement differs from the current testing system.
Manual editions, publisher rights and legal references
The modernized supplement is an AAMVA publication hosted by Texas DPS. Public availability does not make every publication public domain. Publisher copyrights and use restrictions still apply. Texas DPS identifies its handbook for personal use and restricts commercial sales or reproduction. These source notices do not grant reproduction rights or imply agency endorsement.
