The Truth About Company Sponsored Programs

THINKING ABOUT GOING TO A COMPANY SPONSORED TRAINING PROGRAM?

Thinking about signing on to a company that promises you a great career in truck driving & they are going to pay for you to get your CDL? You better think long & hard before you get yourself into that bag of worms. Your family is counting on YOU to make the right decisions. These companies make you think you’re going to make the big bucks in their trucks misleading you all the way. If they were so great then why would they be advertising so hard, daily, for new people to come sign up??? If it were so great there wouldn’t be any advertisements. They wouldn’t be trying to sell their company to you trying to make them self up to look so great! They wouldn't be wearing your phone out trying to get you to sign up on the dotted line. They are advertising because the previous people that signed up finally realized the company was full of crap & lies after a few pay checks & being left stranded for days waiting on a load. When the previous people who signed up quit, the company starts looking for their next victim, YOU! No company offers training for free, there's always a catch. You will bring $500.00 cash for your housing and meals. You can get your CDL with us for around $500.00, no contract and no money to owe us back. In their contract you agree to pay them back $5,000 up to $9,000 for them helping you get a CDL. They make you sign a one, two or even a three-year contract to go to their CDL training only to be their little bitch on the highway paying you peanuts. These companies will pay you peanuts of .12 up to .29 cents a mile leaving you & your family still starving after all their deductions. They only give 125 to 250 miles a day. Then these companies will leave you stranded for days or over a week with no pay away from your family waiting for a load hoping you will quit. They WANT you to quit so they can write off the $5,000 to $9,000 off on their taxes saying they spent all of this money training you. We hear it every day from people just like yourself who aren’t hip to the game these companies are playing. Most every company makes you reimburse them back for the training & if you quit they have a collection agency file the money owed on your credit. Listen, these companies get you to sign up for their training only to use you for a tax write off. They will find a way to get rid of you so they can write up to a $9,000 loss off on their taxes for time supposedly spent training you. They WANT you to quit so they don’t have to pay you unemployment. Listen, most people like yourself are searching out a career in truck driving are either on their last leg exhausting their last little bit of cash they have with bills due or are way behind in high hopes of getting by until their first big truck driving pay check comes in...only to be very disappointed feeling like they are back in the same boat broke all over again. Don’t be a fool.
